2019 Volunteers Needed Now
In addition to the on-field support, there is a significant amount of work behind the scenes which require volunteers to assist the Executive in preparing and executing the upcoming 2019 season. Currently we are seeking individuals to fill the following roles:
- Coach Pitch/Machine Pitch Coordinator
Hours of Commitment: 15-20 hours/mth pre-season; 6-8 hours per/mth during season
Duties: Manage, organize and supervise operations of the division, communicate with and represent needs of divisions teams and coaches, assign practice facilities within the website, address any in-season issues as they arise (local rules, conduct of fans, players or representatives, umpiring, parent concerns, etc.) Report to VP on Field. Collect equipment at the end of the season and other duties as they arise.
- Intermediate/Junior/Senior Coordinator
Hours of Commitment: 15-20 hours/mth pre-season; 6-8 hours/mth during season
Duties: Manage, organize and supervise all operations of the divisions, organize and preside over evaluations, communicate with and represent needs of division teams and coaches, assign practice facilities within the website, address any in-season issues as they arise (rosters, local rules, conduct of fans, players or representatives, umpiring, parent concerns, etc.) report to VP On Field. Collect uniforms and equipment at the end of the season.
Hours of commitment: 6-8 hours per month during season
Duties: Managing the Concession at Foothills Athletic park including the ordering, picking up and stocking of supplies (ie: hot dogs, buns, soft drinks, freezes, condiments, napkins, etc.). Working with and coordinating the various Major/National team concession personnel and monitoring to ensure cleanliness, safety and that procedures are being followed.
Please note: A Costco membership is required.
Hours of commitment: Approx. 15- 20 hours (Mid-January to Mid-March)
Duties: Assist Coach Development Coordinator in monitoring and ensuring coaches have completed their coach registrations within the Goalline system. Assist in the identification of coach shortfalls and on-going communication to parents of the need for coaches.
Please note: Computer skills and basic spreadsheet skills would be an asset.
