Call-Out for Majors, Intermediate & Junior Coaches

Bow Ridge Little League is now accepting applications from individuals wishing to Coach or Assistant Coach for the following teams:
- Majors
- Intermediate
- Junior
All coaches must register as a coach using the "2017 Coach Registration" found on the Bow Ridge website. Anyone wishing to be considered for the coaching staff of our Tier 1 and Majors teams is also required to submit the detailed application form attached to this email highlighting their qualifications and approach to the coaching and managing of a Bow Ridge Little League Team.
All applications will be considered on an individual basis and reviewed and assessed at the Board Level by the Coach Selection Committee. One (1) Head Coach and one (1) Assistant Coach will be selected for each team. The Head Coach will select a second Assistant Coach from among the parents of their respective team once the teams have been assembled.
For Coach selection, player development will remain our number one focus and as such, factors of consideration will include but not be limited to: individual approach and methodology to coaching, prior coaching experience in Baseball, coaching certifications as well as coaching experience and training in other sport.
Please note that in order to be considered, you must have either completed your NCCP Initiation Coach or be prepared to enroll and complete this training prior to the start of the season. Bow Ridge will assume all costs for the training.
Successful candidates must attend the following evaluation dates (for their division) and draft (Majors only) as noted below:
- Major Evaluations: March 11 (6:00-9:30 pm) & March 12 (11:00 am-1:00pm)
- Intermediate Evaluations: March 12 (7:00-9:00 pm)
- Juniors Evaluations: March 4 (7:45-9:15 pm)
- Majors Draft: date to be announced
Due to a potential conflict of interest, any individual on the Board submitting an application will be excluded from any and all discussions, reviews and selection of the applicants.
