2016 All Star Coaching Call Out

All Star Coaching Applications
Bow Ridge is now accepting Manager (Head Coach) and Assistant Coach applications for our competitive All Star Teams.  Teams will compete against All Star teams from other organizations leading up to the Prairie Invitational Championships in the various Divisions.  This year’s tournament dates are as follows:

• AAA Major (Ages 11 & 12) Lethbridge, AB July 22 to 28
• AA Major (Ages 11 & 12) Regina, SK July 29 to August 1
• AAA Intermediate (Age 13) Medicine Hat, AB July 14 to 17
• AAA Junior (Age 13 & 14) Calgary, AB July 21 to 24
• AA Junior (Age 13 & 14) Regina, SK July 29 to August 1
• AAA Senior (Ages 15 & 16) Edmonton, AB July 14 to 17

Please note: Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements set forth in the “All Star Coach Selection Policy” (on the Bow Ridge website under the “Coach Corner” tab). An exception would be for the coach of the Intermediate team.  This year we did not field an Intermediate house league team, but we are allowed to form an Intermediate All Star team. 
If you are interested in volunteering for one of these positions, please submit an application form which can be found on our website at www.bowridgebaseball.com under the “Coach Corner” tab entitled “All Star Coach Application”. In order to be considered for an All Star Manager/Head Coach or Assistant Coach position, an application form must be submitted. The Bow Ridge Executive Board will review all applications and one Manager/Head Coach will be selected for each team.  AAA team Managers will be selected first and once they have selected their teams, they will select their Assistant Coaches from the other applicants. The remaining Manager/Coach applicants will be eligible to be chosen for the AA teams.  Please indicate whether you are applying for AAA, AA, or both.   Deadline for applications is May 18^th, 2016.  Applications are to be submitted to admin@bowridgebaseball.com
